Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM) observed the 50th Governing Body meeting of the Institute. The meeting was held at the conference room of PKSF Bhaban on 20 December 2018 at 3.00pm. The renowned economist and socio-economic specialist of international repute Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, Chairman, InM presided over the meeting. 

The members of the Governing Body are Mr Md. Abdul Karim, Managing Director, PKSF; Dr Toufic Ahmad Choudhury, Director General, BIBM; Dr Jahangir Alam Khan, Agricultural Economist and Former Director General, Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute; Dr. Nilufar Banu, Executive Director, Bangladesh Unnayan Parishad (BUP); Ms. Nazneen Sultana, Former Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank and Dr. Mustafa K Mujeri, Executive Director, Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM).

 

The 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM) was held at the conference room of PKSF Bhaban on 20 December 2018 with Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, Chairman, InM in the chair. 

The members of the General Body- Mr Md. Abdul Karim, Managing Director, PKSF; Dr Toufic Ahmad Choudhury, Director General, BIBM; Dr Jahangir Alam Khan, Agricultural Economist and Former Director General, Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute; Dr. Nilufar Banu, Executive Director, Bangladesh Unnayan Parishad (BUP); Ms. Nazneen Sultana, Former Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank; Dr. Anwara Begum, Senior Research Fellow, BIDS; Dr. Akhter Hussain, Professor & Chairman, Department of Public Administration, University of Dhaka; Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Ph.D, Professor and Chairman, Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka; Professor Rezai Karim Khondker, Professor, Department of Development Economics, Dhaka School of Economics, Dhaka; Dr Mustafa K Mujeri, Executive Director, Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM) and Dr Md. Mosleh Uddin Sadeque, Director (Training), InM were present at the meeting.

The 9th Batch of Diploma programme has started on 8th September 2018. The Orientation Programme of the new batch took place on 5th September, 2018. 23 participants have enrolled in the programme from 11 reputed NGO-FMIs such as BRAC, SOJAG, DSK, PADAKHEP, RIC, BURO Bangladesh, Sajida Foundation. Moreover, one participant has enrolled with self-financed. Three courses, C1: Poverty, Development and Microfinance, C2: Microfinance Operations and Management and C3: Financial Planning and Analysis for MFIs have been offered for this quarter, the other three courses will be offered in the next quarter.
