Student Group from Yale University Visits InM

A group of 22 students of different disciplines from Yale University, USA visited InM on 6 March 2012.

The students were interested to be acquainted with the current status and future prospects of microfinance in Bangladesh as well as in the international arena. They also intended to know about the varied activities on research, training, education and knowledge management programmes of the Institute.

Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud, Chairman, InM was the moderator of the meeting and briefed the students on the scenario of microfinance sector in the country.

Dr. Md. Mosleh Uddin Sadeque, Interim Executive Director, InM and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Latif, Director (Research and KnM), InM along with other senior officials and researchers were also present on the occasion.


The Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development (InM) is registered as an independent non-profit institution under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
The Institute works for developing the overall capacity of the financial sector and strengthening the links between the financial and real sectors through undertaking research, training, education, knowledge management and other programmes in priority areas including inclusive finance, microfinance, poverty and development.
