Training Modules

Till to date, InM has developed 18 training modules of international standards to cater to the needs of microfinance practitioners at national and international levels. The modules are as follows:

Financial Management for MFIs (5 days)
Many executives, branch managers and CEOs of Microfinance institutions have non-business academic backgrounds. The aim of this course is to equip these executives with particular financial skills so that they will be able to handle and manage both short term and long term issues related to financial management. This course aims to train MFI executives to manage working capital, exposure to credit risk, and evaluate profitability of long term projects. Read More......
Accounting & Finance for Non-finance Executives of MFIs (5 days)
Many executives, branch managers and CEOs of MFIs have non-accounting background. Accounting and financial information are critical in the decision making process of the Executives. A better understanding of the process of statement preparation and financial information will lead to informed decision. This training module is designed to cater the target audience in a manner so that they can understand how and why accounting records are prepared, summarized and interpreted. This will enable them to supervise in an efficient and effective manner and question any anomalies to the accountants and thus contribute to the sustainability of MFIs. Read More......

Financial Analysis course is developed to help people working in the microfinance field to obtain basic analytical skills to use financial information. It is intended for managers and executives of micro-finance organisations to evaluate financial health of the entity. Monitoring and Evaluation of Microfinance Programme (5 days)
The training has been designed for effective monitoring and evaluation of different microfinance programmes and this course will assist in the development of practical knowledge on monitoring and evaluation of microfinance programmes.
